Since 2017 Litecoin’s network hash-rate has increased more than 5x, transactions on the network have gone up over 10x and active addresses are up over 5x. All indicating continued growth and adoption of Litecoin and breaking previous records despite the recent downturn in the cryptocurreny markets.
On this 7th anniversary, perhaps as no coincidence, Gemini are Launching Litecoin support and will open up trading on Tuesday the 16th at 9:30am EDT and tradeable against BTC, ETH, ZEC, USD. Deposits will open today at 9:30am EDT. Gemini was the final large-scale cryptocurrency exchange left to support Litecoin which now means Litecoin is available across all major exchanges, a truly exclusive club with only three members, the other two being Bitcoin and Ethereum.
